We were lucky enough to be there when the Christmas markets were on. The lady at the ticket office gave us a voucher to get a free drink from one of the stalls which served the most delicious chicken schnitzel and potatoes in a cone. All round a wonderful night in Vienna.”

The only shortcomings are the “ambiance” and exclusively tourist audience. I concede that it’s a tough time of year for music in Vienna.”

The dinner it’s good but forgettable, it’s at the restaurant. The concert it’s at an other building (part of the palace compound) but at some point resemblance a nice warehouse with nice chairs, but the space between them are súper small (if you have the budget, go for at least zone A. We think that they forget to turn on the AC, because it was so hot in there (we went in December). The singers were bad, musicians average; but definitely not worth…”
