Our tour guide (using English) led us through State Rooms, private apartments, underground bunkers and communication rooms within this impressive building. Following this we were led to a museum dedicated to the history of French and American involvement in Vietnam after WW2. We were shown various military vehicles from that period and provided with graphic detail of the horrors of that time. The whole thing took nearly three hours but it was absorbing.
